Location
Luz Beach is a beautiful sandy beach with the European blue flag indicating clean sand and clean water. It offers sun beds for Mum and Dad to relax and at one end a collection of rock pool are perfect for children to explore.
The development of the 
village is mostly low rise apartments and villas of all sizes, and the facilities are aimed at family holidays.
There is a great variety of family friendly restaurants and bars, good supermarkets and all the amenities for a complete holiday. Luz is just 8 minutes west of the larger historic town of Lagos which provides great sightseeing, plenty of shopping, good night life, and a large established marina.
There is a regular bus service from Luz to Lagos and surrounding areas.
The west coast, a Mecca to surfers, is about 30 minutes away offering huge un-spoilt beaches with large breakers suitable for experienced and novice surfers.
Access is from Faro airport 80 kms away, which is about 45 minutes by car. The train from Faro to Lagos is very inexpensive and takes about 1 ½ hours.
